I have been using NCM to analyse my chess moves. Recently, you guys rolled Stockfish 9 and declared it to be strongest. However, my experience from a number of games suggest that stockfish 9 is much weaker than stockfish 8, especially the end game of stockfish 9 is just (as I call) rubbish.

I think you guys need to reconsider making stockfish 8 as the default engine. If not, could you please add an option to select the engine of choice and save it for future use? I chose stockfish 8 but as soon as I log out and log back in, it goes back to stockfish 9 which I do not want to use.
