New Update
After updating to the new version on 9/12, the chess pieces will not show up on the board. I am using the program on an iPad.

This has been fixed. I submitted the new version to apple, requested and was granted an expedited review, and the new version (1.2.1) was released about 2 hours ago. The pieces are back!
Again, sorry for the terrible version 1.2, and thank you for reporting this bug!

I just update this app & I am having the same problem. The pieces are gone.
