Saved boards not working?

I may not be doing it right, but I'm trying to save certain boards, and it's not working. Is it a bug or am I just not figuring this out?

    I think what I'm trying to say is that I would like to load a saved board. This way you can play out different scenarios but then go back to the original saved board.
