  1. Orientation of boards

    We have the option of flipping the boards, but if I have multiple boards and I am different colors on each board, can we isolate the flipping of the boards rather than flipping all of them?

  3. Saved boards not working?

    I may not be doing it right, but I'm trying to save certain boards, and it's not working. Is it a bug or am I just not figuring this out?

  4. Duplicate pieces

    Being able to set the board with duplicate pieces. Having 3 queens for example. Can't seem to do that here.

  5. Move previous and next

    It would be great to go forwards and backwards on moves played

  6. Multiple lines?

    We need to have the option to display multiple lines of potential moves. I also like seeing the move list. Also, I’d like to see a +/- engine score rather than cp.

  8. Stockfish 9 is weaker than Stockfish 8

    Hi,

    I have been using NCM to analyse my chess moves. Recently, you guys rolled Stockfish 9 and declared it to be strongest. However, my experience from a number of games suggest that stockfish 9 is much weaker than stockfish 8, especially the end game of stockfish 9 is just (as I call) rubbish.

    I think you guys need to reconsider making stockfish 8 as the default engine. If not, could you please add an option to select the engine of choice and save it for future use? I chose stockfish 8 but as soon as I log out and…

  9. Add automatic moving option

    Enable an option to automatically make the suggested move once calculated. For instance, once a move is suggested, it will automatically occur as long as the option is selected, this makes it easier to analyze for it reduces total # of clicks.

    Aye! Yes. Here’s what I was thinking for that:

    In that “hotdog menu” that brings up the reset / capture all / flip options, add the following:

    - Load FEN
    - Copy FEN
    - Load PGN
    - Copy PGN

    Basically they would all operate directly on the clipboard. So, for instance, to load PGN, you would copy it into the clipboard (from a website or email or whatnot) and then select “Load PGN” option.

    Does this sound like a good interface, or do you have something else in mind?

    Let me know and I’ll try to get an updated build out tomorrow or the day after!

  12. Flipped boards

    The boards keep flipping when I exit and every time I go in I either have to turn it off or on. VERY ANNOYING.

  13. Flipping the Board

    I wish I could flip eac I wish I could FLIP each board individually and not every single one. There are some games I play white and others black, and Flipping all just makes it a pain.

  14. Option to automatically switch the Active Color

    Enable an option to turn on auto-switching of the active color once a move is made. For instance, if I have black selected as the active color and the move is made, have the active color switch to white as long as the auto-switch option is enabled.

    IF U DON'T AGREE OR DISLIKE THE MOVE WHICH WAS CALCULATED U SHOULD BE ABLE TO RECALCULATE WHERE APP WILL THEN SEARCH FOR A DIFFERENT MOVE BUT ALSO LETTING U CHOSE BETEEN THEM

  17. Import Boards

  18. have a playback/stop/next/prev buttons

    Often I would like to see what is going to happen next few moves. So, I find myself doing:
    1. Calculate next mode
    2. Click on the suggestion to make the move
    3. Flip white/black (active color)
    4. Back to 1.
    ...

    I would like these actions to happen automatically.
    Also, I would like to have a back/next buttons to playback at the game after again.

  20. Consider adding explanation for FEN

    I'm a newbie with some experience in chess. I had to google the mysterious term FEN or what it's used for on the page. I'm sure it's easy to guess for the pros but for the rest an explanation would be nice.
    It could be a plain tooltip which could merely say the full name of the notation instead of the addreviation.
